Short answer
Yes. In the Bible, sex belongs inside marriage between a man and a woman. Not because sex is bad, but because it is that precious.
God invented sex, and the Bible celebrates it in a whole book, Song of Solomon. He designed it as the sign of a lifelong promise, two becoming one flesh. Marriage is where that promise is made.
Love can wait: Song of Solomon says not to awaken love until the time is right. Waiting protects you both from deep hurt. Paul says to flee sexual immorality, because it is a sin against your own body.
If you've already had sex, you are not ruined. Forgiveness is complete, and you can start again today. If someone pressures you, is much older than you, or asks for photos, that isn't love. Tell a trusted adult.
Agree on boundaries before you're in the moment. Avoid being alone in a bedroom late at night. Find a married couple you trust to talk to. Married or single, we are all called to the same holiness.
My verses
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
O daughters of Jerusalem, I adjure you: Do not arouse or awaken love until the time is right.
Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a man can commit is outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.
Marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
For it is God’s will that you should be holy: You must abstain from sexual immorality; each of you must know how to control his own body in holiness and honor.
