Short answer

Salvation depends on trusting Jesus, not on how someone died. Suicide is a terrible tragedy, not an unforgivable sin.

If you have lost someone to suicide, your grief is heavy and often mixed with questions, anger and guilt. Be gentle with yourself.

The Bible never calls suicide unforgivable. Someone who trusted Jesus is saved by His grace, not by their state of mind at the end. Nothing can separate God's children from His love. Often the person was ill and in terrible pain. Suicide is still never God's will. Every life is precious to Him.

Leave the one you lost with God, who is just and merciful and knows what you don't. Please let others help you grieve. You don't have to do this alone.
