God and Jesus
How can I know God is real?
Short answer
You can't prove God like a maths sum, but there are strong reasons to believe, and God promises that seekers will find Him.
Start with what is there: a universe with a beginning, laws of nature fine-tuned for life, and a sense in every culture that right and wrong are real. None of this forces belief, but the Bible says creation makes God's power and nature plain.
The strongest evidence is a person. Christianity stands or falls on Jesus and whether He rose from the dead. That is a question of history you can look into.
God isn't hiding from honest people. He says those who search for Him with all their heart will find Him. Faith is trust built on good reasons, and it grows as you take steps.
This week, read Mark, a chapter a day. First pray: God, if You are real, show me.
My verses
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. Without speech or language, without a sound to be heard, their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun.
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
