Fruit of the Spirit
Patience
Bearing with people and waiting on God without giving up.
What this is
Patience is staying steady when people are slow, life is frustrating or God's timing isn't yours. It holds its temper and doesn't give up on people.
Patience doesn't ignore wrong or stay silent. It chooses the right time and tone instead of reacting in the heat of the moment.
God is patient with you every day. As the Spirit grows patience in you, slow down, plan margin and ask for help before you snap.
In Jesus
Peter denied Jesus three times. After rising, Jesus didn't give up on him. He asked him three times if he loved Him and gave him his calling back (John 21:15-17).

My verses
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
My beloved brothers, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteousness that God desires.
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger calms dispute.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer.
Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the soil—how patient he is for the fall and spring rains. You, too, be patient and strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.

- Give someone extra timeWhen someone is slow this week, wait without sighing or hurrying them. Treat them the way God treats you.

Father, You are patient with me every day. Slow me down, hold my tongue when I want to snap, and help me wait for You with trust.
